The BASECAMP universe consists of three different types of modules/sofas, all of which can be freely combined with one another:
- BASECAMP – the original module size
- BASECAMP XL – modules that are 20 cm longer than the BASECAMP modules
- BASECAMP XL DEEP – modules that are both 20 cm longer and 20 cm deeper than the BASECAMP modules

The BASECAMP sofa is handcrafted by skilled cabinetmakers in the EU – specifically in Latvia.
Yes, both the wood, cold foam and fabric are certified when you choose a BASECAMP sofa. It’s a choice we’ve made so you can freely choose between all modules and fabrics with peace of mind.
The modules are connected using crocodile clips underneath the base. These metal fittings ensure that the modules cannot slide apart, while still allowing them to be easily separated by lifting the module approximately 10 cm upwards.
The delivery time for the BASECAMP sofa in the EU is 8 weeks. If you choose a special fabric/special colour (i.e. a fabric type or colour that is not available on the website), the delivery time will be slightly longer – often around 10 weeks.
The BASECAMP sofa is not delivered assembled, but in boxes as individual modules. You can choose between 4 different delivery options:
- Collection from our warehouse in Esbjerg
- Delivery by freight carrier to the nearest kerbside
- Delivery including carrying into your home
- Delivery including carrying into your home and assembly
