The PRIMETIME armchair was born after the internationally recognized architect Tom Stepp became the father of a little girl. He needed a chair big enough for 2 – a comfortable chair where he could sit with his little girl and enjoy a cozy moment at the end of the day. That's why he designed PRIMETIME.

Here you get the furniture where you can find space for contemplation and presence with your children or disappear into the world of books. Then life doesn't get any better! The PRIMETIME chair is also very popular with children, as it can rotate.

MAKE nordic has taken over this Danish classic, which was previously sold by Fredericia Furniture. The PRIMETIME armchair has been optimized so that the timeless expression of the past meets the comfort and quality of the future.

Design your own

You choose the expression of the chair yourself, so that it suits your personal style. Choose between natural or black-painted oak from FSC®-certified forests (FSC® N002763) and a swivel base in either brushed or black-painted steel. The soft cushions with cold foam and down top can be covered with several different fabric variants or leather.

An armchair in responsible materials

When you choose the PRIMETIME chair, you choose a piece of furniture that is made from responsible materials. The wood is from FSC®-certified forests (FSC® N002763), which means that the wood is felled with respect for both nature, people and animals. Furniture textiles and leather are certified with either the Swan label®, Oeko-tex or the EU flower® for the sake of both the environment and your health. If you choose leather for your chair, we can recommend the soft Dunes leather from Sørensen Læder, which has the Swan Ecolabel®. This type of leather must not be treated with grease or cleaner, as it must be allowed to patina beautifully and naturally. An armchair for life

When you choose a PRIMETIME armchair and take good care of it, you get a chair that will last for many years – yes, perhaps for several generations. The down layer wraps around you like a duvet, and the pillows can be easily shaken and tapped so that they keep their shape and do not collect dust. If you choose a textile cover, the cushion can be turned over, and if there is a stain, you can try a light wipe or remove the fabric and clean it gently. The wood requires no treatment or maintenance, as it has been given a thin layer of matte varnish, so it simply needs to be wiped off with a damp cloth. If you want to renew your PRIMETIME chair over time, the cushion and cover can be changed as needed.
