RE-WOOL, Kvadrat

Price group 2

Re-wool is an award-winning furniture fabric with a sustainable profile from the Danish company Kvadrat. Designed by Margrethe Odgaard. Here you get a durable, honest and environmentally friendly textile, which is produced by recycling leftover wool from Kvadrat's own spinners. The classic wool fabric has a vivid and retro-like play on the surface with the combination of colored threads on a darker background. A textile for the conscious consumer that focuses on both the environment, quality and exclusive design. Re-wool is easy to clean and it stays beautiful on your furniture for many years.

Specifications:

Designed by: Margrethe Odgaard
Composition: 45% post-industrial recycled wool, 45% new wool, 10% nylon
Martindale test: 100,000
Pilling: 4
Light fastness: 7

Re-wool is not suitable for pets.
As the type of fabric is woven from small stitches, there is a risk of loose threads.

Sustainability
Recycled materials and environmentally friendly production. Complies with the EU eco-label – in addition, the substance does not contain AZO dyes, heavy metals or formaldehyde.

  • EU Ecolabel
  • Greenguard Gold
  • HPD

Impregnation
It is not necessary to treat wool as it is naturally dirt repellent.

Wool
Wool consists of fibers from sheep fleece and is due to its many good properties an ideal material for furniture. Wool is comfortable, durable, dirt-repellent and fire-retardant. The combination of these properties creates a material that is both soft, breathable and resists a high degree of wear. At the same time, wool stays nice for a long time, as wool resists a greater degree of dirt incl. embers from cigarettes and the like.

Care and Stain Removal
We recommend frequent vacuuming of the fabric 1-2 times a week to avoid stains as well as regular wiping of the fabric with a damp cloth.
A quick effort is essential to achieve the best result. Stains can be removed with the help of water, dishwashing soap, sparkling water, or with the help of stain removers that are specially made for the purpose. Avoid stains by treating the entire seat surface.

We point out that dark clothes, such as denim, can spread on light fabrics when rubbed against each other, e.g. a pair of new jeans against a light sofa.
