Element

NEW
Price Group 1

Element is a characterful textile with a slightly coarser bouclé structure than our other variants. The surface is mottled and has a tactile texture that gives the furniture depth and personality. A contemporary choice in an attractive price group for those who love bouclé.

Specifications:

Composition: 60% recycled polyester, 34% polyester, 6% acrylic
Martindale: 70.000
Pilling: 4
Light fastness: 4-5
Certification: Oeko-tex® standard 100

Polyester: Polyester is a durable and practical material, particularly suitable for everyday furniture use. It is easy to maintain and does not scratch. Polyester is a popular and functional choice with a long lifespan. Since it does not contain stretchable natural fibers, polyester may develop slight creases and patina over time.

OEKO-TEX®: This textile is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which means it has been tested for harmful substances in the finished product. It ensures that the textile is safe to use in the home and in close contact with the skin.

Pets: We do not recommend this textile for homes with pets, as the weaving can be damaged by claws, which may cause holes or loose threads.

Impregnation: The textile can be impregnated as needed.

Care and stain removal: For longer durability, we recommend regular vacuuming with an upholstery nozzle. Stains should be removed as quickly as possible using demineralized water and mild dish detergent. Dark clothing may transfer color.

Lint and loose threads: Light surface lint may appear during use. This can often be removed with gentle vacuuming and using a fabric shaver on smooth textiles. We do not recommend using a fabric shaver on bouclé. Any loose threads should not be cut but, if possible, gently pushed back into place.

FIORD, Kvadrat

Price group 3

Fiord from Kvadrat is a versatile textile with a subtle three-dimensional look. Fiord's construction combines a mottled yarn with a solid color yarn, creating pearl-like dots that play across the fabric's surface. This sophisticated expression reflects an important source of inspiration behind the design: moonlight that sparkles like pearls on the rippling water of a Norwegian fjord.

Specifications
Designed by: Louise Sigvardt
Composition: 92% new wool, 8% nylon
Martindale test: 60,000
Piling: 4-5
Light fastness: 6

Fiord is not suitable for pets.
As the type of fabric is woven from small stitches, there is a risk of loose threads.

Sustainability
Environmentally friendly production. Complies with the EU eco-label – in addition, the substance does not contain AZO dyes, heavy metals or formaldehyde.

  • EU Ecolabel
  • Greenguard Gold
  • HPD
  • EPD

Impregnation
It is not necessary to treat wool as it is naturally dirt repellent.

Wool
Wool consists of fibers from sheep fleece and is due to its many good properties an ideal material for furniture. Wool is comfortable, durable, dirt-repellent and fire-retardant. The combination of these properties creates a material that is both soft, breathable and resists a high degree of wear. At the same time, wool stays nice for a long time, as wool resists a greater degree of dirt incl. embers from cigarettes and the like.

Care and Stain Removal
We recommend frequent vacuuming of the fabric 1-2 times a week to avoid stains as well as regular wiping of the fabric with a damp cloth.
A quick effort is essential to achieve the best result. Stains can be removed with the help of water, dishwashing soap, sparkling water, or with the help of stain removers that are specially made for the purpose. Avoid stains by treating the entire seat surface.

We point out that dark clothes, such as denim, can spread on light fabrics when rubbed against each other, e.g. a pair of new jeans against a light sofa.

Pets: We do not recommend this fabric for homes with pets, as the weave can be damaged by claws, which may cause holes or loose threads.

Impregnation: The fabric can be impregnated as needed.

Care and Stain Removal: For longer durability, we recommend regular vacuuming using an upholstery nozzle. Stains should be removed as quickly as possible with demineralized water and mild dishwashing detergent. Dark clothing may transfer color.

Lint and loose threads: Light surface lint may appear with use. This can often be removed with gentle vacuuming and the use of a fabric shaver on smooth textiles. We do not recommend using a fabric shaver on boucle. Any loose threads should not be cut, but if possible, gently pushed back into place.
