The BASECAMP sofa has passed the L2 test at the Danish Technological Institute. This means it has been tested for heavy public use, for example in schools, hospitals, trains, and more. You get an extremely durable modular sofa of very high quality.

L2 (EN 16139) is the European standard for durability and safety of seating furniture.

The test is performed by independent testing institutes and consists a series of stress tests, where the furniture is subjected to repeated pressure, weight, and movements that simulate many years of daily use.

There are two levels:

• L1 (Level 1) – for private use or light commercial use.
  
• L2 (Level 2) – for intensive use in public spaces, such as hotels, offices, lobbies, or restaurants.
