THE CHAIR FOR THE BEST OF TIMES
The GOLIAT armchair, designed by Poul M. Volther in 1953, was then created for Copenhagen's Møbelsnedker exhibition. GOLIAT has previously only been produced in a few copies, and was rediscovered by chance by Poul M. Volther's son at a Swedish auction. It has therefore never been in production elsewhere than here with us.
GOLIAT has a beautiful, minimalist look, with surprisingly high seating comfort. It can stand alone with its stylish lines, but it can also be very easily combined with other furniture to create a varied and personal expression in the home. For the GOLIAT armchair, you also have the option of choosing a footstool, drawn with the same line as the chair, for even greater comfort.
Hallingdal 65 from Kvadrat was designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel, and is a mix between wool and viscose. The wool provides good durability and flexibility, while the viscose gives shine and depth to the colors. You therefore get a very high-quality textile that is durable and in a timeless design.
