Wool: Wool is a natural material with outstanding properties for furniture. The fibers are naturally elastic and durable, which ensures that the fabric remains in good condition for many years. Wool is temperature-regulating, breathable, and naturally dirt-repellent thanks to its lanolin content. In addition, wool is naturally flame-retardant and comfortable to sit on year-round. The fabric may develop slight creases over time.
EU Ecolabel: This fabric is certified with the EU Ecolabel, the official EU environmental label, which sets requirements for the entire product lifecycle – from materials and production to durability and environmental impact. The certification also includes strict requirements for substances used.
Pets: We do not recommend this fabric for homes with pets, as the weaving may be damaged by claws, which can cause holes or loose threads.
Impregnation: The fabric can be impregnated as needed.
Care and stain removal: For longer durability, we recommend regular vacuuming with an upholstery nozzle. Stains should be removed as quickly as possible using demineralized water and mild dishwashing detergent. Dark clothing may cause color transfer.
Lint and loose threads: Light surface lint may appear with use. This can often be removed with gentle vacuuming and the use of a fabric shaver on smooth textiles. We do not recommend using a fabric shaver on bouclé. Any loose threads should not be cut but, if possible, gently pushed back into place.
