At MAKE nordic, we offer bar stools in two different heights. The low bar stool has a height of 65 cm, and the tall model has a height of 75 cm. Normally, a 65 cm bar stool is chosen for a standard kitchen counter height. If the bar is one meter or higher, then you should choose a 75 cm bar stool. With these two options, you can select the exact height of the bar stool that best fits into your home.
Description
UGO barstool
by Piet Hein
The Piet Hein bar stool is based on his world-renowned SUPERELLIPSE®, which gives the chair both edge and format. The minimalist form derives from the geometric formula that made Piet Hein world famous.
The graphic expression is light and elegant. At the same time, it is an extremely functional chair with a high sitting comfort. The coveted Nordic style matches most kitchens and is popular for the kitchen island, but it also makes a beautiful statement in café environments and at companies.
Danish production
The UGO bar stool is made in Denmark. It is made to be used, and the strong quality materials mean that it can last for many years. Piet Hein's SUPERELLIPSE® is repeated in the footrest, which increases comfort and strengthens the graphic expression of the UGO bar stool. If you choose an upholstered seat, you get traceable leather from SPOOR. This means that the leather can actually be traced all the way back to the animal that grazed the fields in Northern Europe.
Variants
You can choose Piet Hein's UGO in two heights. One is 65 cm and the other is 75 cm. The lowest bar stool of 65 cm is perfect for your kitchen island or kitchen table. The high bar stool of 75 cm is made for a higher table or a bar.
In addition, the series also includes a matching stool that can be stacked.
Sustainable materials
You can choose the bar stool with a seat in 4 variants. A single seat of oak veneer from FSC®-certified forests (FSC® N002763), treated with water-based lacquer in either natural or black. Or with an upholstered seat made of traceable leather from SPOOR in either black or cognac. You choose your own expression entirely yourself. The seat is shaped in veneer according to Piet Hein's mathematical formula, which forms the basis of his SUPERELLIPSE®. Hence the characteristic expression.
The elegant frame of recyclable steel is powder coated in matt black, which gives a beautiful finish. The bar stool is finished with discreet felt glides to protect your floor during daily use.

MAKE a difference
"We strive to create furniture of high design quality, with great consideration for the environment, and with the least possible impact on our shared earth. For if there's anything that accompanies us for a long time in life, it is our furniture. When we produce the furniture in good quality and take good care of it, it can last for many years and perhaps be passed down through generations. In this way, we might make a small difference and minimize the buy-and-throw-away mentality"
- Line Olesen, Founder
